On Saturday February 13, 2016 Peace in the Streets and 831 Niner Empire along with family and friends came together to help those in need. The city of Salinas is plagued with violence, drugs, unemployment, amongst many other things. The joint forces attempted to put a smile on peoples face for a second by donating and passing out food and clothes. As we stand there passing out food I hear stories of many people passing food and clothes to the homeless are actually son’s and daughters of those receiving the food. Very humbling experience that would make anybody shed a tear. Many volunteers brought their children so they can see first hand the importance of giving and caring. Thank you to all the chapters and 49er faithful who give back and for that you are truly a blessing.
